Chocolate Cookie Recipes
Recipe
Issues:
The first batch of cookies was hard and crunchy instead of soft and chewy. The problem was that I baked them for too long – I know I made a rookie mistake.
Solution:
In the next batch, I reduced the baking time to 9-10 minutes, and the cookies came out perfectly soft and chewy.
White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies
Recipe
Issues:
The first attempt resulted in cookies that were overly sweet due to the high amount of white chocolate chips – was it an oversight – nah I love chocolate. Realized it was not just about what I found tasty but what appeals to others.
Solution:
I reduced the amount of white chocolate chips to 1 1/2 cups in the next batch, to achieve a better balance of sweetness and allowing the nutty flavor to shine through.
These examples show that experimenting with recipes can lead to perfect cookies by adjusting ingredient quantities, baking times, and techniques to achieve the desired taste and texture.
Walnut Brownies
Recipe
Issues:
The first and only attempt with walnuts resulted in them sinking to the bottom of the brownies.
Solution:
The secret to my success was to toss the walnuts in a little flour (who knew it was such an easy fix). To keep the walnuts evenly distributed throughout the brownies and also prevented them from sinking, the brownies had a balanced nutty flavor.
